The stay was convenient for our cruise departure. The hotel’s proximity to the waterfront was a big plus for us, making our journey to the ship smooth.
The elevators were exceptionally tiny, making it a bit difficult to manage our luggage.

i recently stayed for a night and found the room comfortable and clean. the location is ideal for visiting nearby medical centers, and the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. it really exceeded my expectations compared to my last visit over five years ago.
the elevator was out of service.

Seattle's dining scene was lit! Found gluten-free gems like Mediterranean Kitchen Kabob House just a short stroll away. The staff at the hotel were super friendly, making our stay that much more enjoyable.
Was NOT prepared for the Inn to be situated at the top of a hill—who knew Seattle had such towering inclines? Plus, the desk clerk telling us we could've snagged a better rate if we called was unnecessary. we booked online, so what’s the point?

The staff was genuinely helpful, and got me a heater to combat the freezing cold in my room! The meal I had at the on-site restaurant was surprisingly good -- probably better than I expected. I found the convenient location near the medical center to be a significant relief during my stay.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but it was still acceptable for the area.

Location near Virginia Mason Hospital is ideal for those with medical needs. The Junior Queen Suite features three large windows for ample natural light, a spacious layout, and a lovely mini fridge and microwave for convenience.
Issues cropped up like bathroom lighting inconsistencies and a moldy ceiling. Annoyingly thin walls made it hard to sleep due to noise from neighboring rooms. Also, parking required a trek down a steep hill, not great for everyone. Noticed a lack of air conditioning which could be a dealbreaker in warmer weather, especially if not disclosed upfront.

We stayed close to many attractions, like Safeco Field, which was a highlight for my family. The staff was friendly, and the spacious room suited our needs well, making it comfortable for my elderly parents to navigate.
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly amenities. The lack of AC was tough, especially with the warm weather during our stay.

missingWrote a review on Oct 28comfortable bedspacious roomhospital atmospherelack of modern amenitiessecondary guest reception
The stay featured a comfortable bed and a spacious room, making it a pleasant retreat. An on-site bar and restaurant with Mediterranean dishes added to the convenience, especially during the nightly happy hour. However, the presence of hospital patients nearby sometimes took away from the atmosphere, and the older property's charm felt a bit overshadowed by the lack of modern amenities. Cleanliness was maintained, but the reception of guests seemed secondary to the continuous occupancy from the hospital.

More air conditioning options would be helpful.

I found this place super clean and loved how comfy the beds and pillows were after a long day. They had an inviting lounge area and a great spot to grab some coffee, perfect for winding down. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which made it a bit warm, but overall, I truly enjoyed my stay! 😊

Just a solid selection for resting at all in Seattle with excellent value for money. The personnel was nice, and there’s a laundromat across the street. Bring your own fan if it gets too hot.

The Inn At Virginia Mason has a charming decor that showcases its historic character. The accessibility for seniors was commendable, with wide pathways and elevators that made moving around the hotel convenient and stress-free, especially for my 86-year-old mother.
More air conditioning options would greatly improve comfort.

Our group vacation was a blast! We enjoyed visiting Safeco Field for a baseball game and explored the nearby 74-acre park for some great arts and entertainment. The location was convenient and the staff were friendly. Just a heads up, the hotel is older and there's no air conditioning, so be prepared for that.
One downside was the lack of an elevator, which was a hassle with our luggage since the stairs were steep.

Quaint Stay with Room for Improvement
I enjoyed a cozy night in the Deluxe Queen Room, appreciated the attentive cleaning staff, and loved the charming vintage feel despite the lack of modern amenities. Pro tip, Pack snacks, as there are limited dining options nearby, and prepare for a hike to reach the waterfront!
